I've found that I'm usually not jiving with each of my children simultaneously. We recently finished a very difficult Esme phase, knock on wood. Now she and I are jivin' and Alice and I are strugglin! It seems like every time I exhale she's done something that so obnoxious! The recent post was about her cutting hair, she also is so into her imagination that she never hears or follows instructions, is constantly swinging on chairs, climbing on the counters, emptying her drawers, teasing her sisters, etc. This morning she colored on the soles of her feet with marker and then walked around on my newly mopped kitchen floor. She was oblivious to her tracks! Frustration! On the other hand she is extremely sweet with Renesmee. She's very quick to sing, dance, make faces, anything to cheer Jenny up. Here they are having snack time together.

You can see by her expression she is as sweet as honey. I just wish the Lord had given me a few more tablespoons of patience and imagination so I can relate to her.

Caryn!
I totally know how you feel. Calvin and I seem to be passing through that same phase...where it just feels like we aren't on the same page. I can totally see Matt saying the exact same thing with the hair cutting! I love your posts and love seeing what you are up to. Looks like you had a ton of fun at the game!
Love ya!
