Our dear, dear friends from long ago BYU days came to visit! Their flight landed late Tuesday night so our kids were already asleep. Esme's school was still out on "Ike break" so when the girls woke up Wednesday morning they found Tess who is a kindergartner, Ester who is three like Alice, and Joshua who is one and wasn't very happy to meet us.

I have to admit that there is something about their little Ester that completely stole my heart!

They were all instant best friends!

Our picnic lunch had to be eaten inside because the mosquitoes were so bad. They were absolutely horrid after Ike and unfortunately the worst day was their first day here. I felt for them... innocent West coasters thrown to the humidity and mosquitoes all at the same time!



Edward and Chad decided they needed to go hit balls at the range. The range happened to be closed so they were really bummed to have to play a round. Poor fellas! And there's Josh, still not very happy.

Even Brian Regan, our favorite comedian, couldn't crack little Joshie.
