Happy Birthday, Handsome!!

My handsome hunk of a man turned 30!! His mother brought over 30 balloons, each with a greeting or memory from a family member. The kids popped them with forks while he read the slips of paper. He thought that was very cool!

FROM ESME:
Mom - What do you like about Daddy?
"Huh, he buys money for us."
Ok, what else?
"Um, he's nice."
How is he nice?
"Um, lots of things. Hm, he's nice because he makes dinner on Sundays, sometimes. And, um, I can't think of anything else. Maybe I'll think of something else. Oo, I got one! Because he goes to work."
How about the scary game?
"Yeah, the scary game! He picks up for us."
What have you learned from Daddy?
"Um, drawing!"
When does he teach you about drawing?
"Um, lots of places: at church, at home, and, at, he teaches me everywhere."
Anything else you'd like to say?
"Um, he takes us out. That's it. I can't think of anything else."
He takes us out where?
"Um, Chili's."

FROM ALICE:
Mom: What do you like about Daddy?
"I don't know"
You don't know?
"Nope"
Do you like it when he goes to work?
"No."
Why?
"Cause, it makes me sad because I miss him."
So, do you like to play with Daddy?
"Yep. At least scary game."
What is the scary game?
"Um, It's like you run and all that kind of stuff."
Can Daddy run super fast?
"Yep. I mean nope."
He runs slow?
"Uh hu. And he runs a little bit fast but we run so fast!"
Do you love your Daddy?
"Yes. And I love Grandma, but not you. I mean I love all of you guys, and Jennifer."

Esme played with Renesmee so she wouldn't eat the wrapping paper!

Alice helped him with the unwrapping!

He got a new Brian Regan cd (above) and his sister Sarah gave him a digital photo frame (below) which is is excited to take to work.

Renesmee was darling!

I made a delicious fajita dinner for him.

And german chocolate cake!
