Christmas Eve, a family tradition...

Tradition: an inherited, established, or customary pattern of thought, action, or behavior (as a religious practice or a social custom). One of our Christmas traditions comes from Edward's mother's family. We decorate a board and hang stockings from it and Santa places his presents under the stockings. We wrap it with white tissue paper and then wrap red streamers around it.
Here's the 2X4.

Renesmee started walking on the 23rd so she was practicing while we worked.

She is so much fun!!

Almost done...

Time for stockings!

Ta Da!

So excited!!

I don't need mistletoe!

We had family over for a short, very short, re-enactment of the Christmas story.

We played a game to ease some of the unbearable excitement!

It was quite fun!

Game over... time for sleep!
