My sister, my hero!

My sister, Crystal, isn't as daring and starving for the spot light as I am. I love a good performance! And, when she told me her piano recital was going to be while I was in town I shouted "hooray!" I am amazed at how beautifully she plays. Not only does it sound fabulous, but she looks so beautiful while she's playing. Her arms, hands, and fingers are so fluid and graceful! My mother taught us to read music and play the church hymns. This is Crystal's first time taking professional piano lesson and hence the recital! It was actually funny in a way. She was one of four performers and the only one above, probably 9. Yet, she brought the largest crowd! She was so brave!
This is how Crystal reacted when I tried to take her photo!

Renesmee was starting to get fussy and Edward was trying desperately to keep little Alice from running down the isles and climbing over the chairs. And, she started clapping in the middle of one of the performances. Oops!

Esme and Chase were a little too excited and not feeling the restraint that is necessary to spectating!

Callie is a wiggler and the recital was no exception!

Crystals fingers were trembling more than I've ever seen anyone tremble!

To celebrate (or as bribery) we went to my favorite ice cream place afterwards - ICE BERG!

Their shakes are ENORMOUS! You have to try their oreo shake with chocolate ice cream! Ah!

We messed things up and ordered the girls an ice cream cone, but Crystal wanted the boys to help her with the huge shake. Camaron was a little upset that he didn't get his own cone. But, we're family so we all shared. What a delicious treat!

Congratulations, Crystal, on a job well done! Well done!
