Sunday mornings...

Growing up we kept the Sabbath day holy by spending most of our time at church, and then playing inside the house. We hold the Sabbath day on a pedestal and try to make it special! I remember my parents not letting us play in the yard because it would turn into a neighborhood party, and then it wouldn't feel like Sunday. I definitely like Sunday to feel different than the other days of the week.

Our tradition is to take a family bike ride, the further the better, on Sunday mornings. With late church it is awesome to get out of the house and to talk and to burn some energy! One of our favorite places is the duck pond. We go there to feed the turtles.

Our community is the perfect place for active people like us. There are green belts all through town to parks, pools, schools, and it's all beautiful!

Here Edward & his three little ladies watch the turtles eat our bread.

My turn...

This bike is my newest, most favorite thing! It's a beach cruiser $20 on craigslist, I paid $10 for a bike man to fix the tire, $4 for a new tube, $45 for the WeeRide Kangaroo child seat, oh, and $10 for my bell! I love, love, LOVE this child seat! I can't sing it's praises enough & Renesmee & I have taken to biking all over town! I mean ALL OVER TOWN!

A bit blurry, but at least you get the idea.

Oh Sunday mornings, how I love thee!
