The other night I sat on Alice's bed while she said her evening personal prayers. I silently prayed for a few minutes and thought to myself, "wow, Alice's prayer is quite long tonight." Her vocal prayers are very sincere and often are quite long winded. I have to keep giving Esme the eye to stop her from rolling her eyes or giggling. Alice will pray for anything she sees (yes eyes are still open) and anything that comes into her mind. It really is very sweet!
Well, I peeked & this is what I saw! A deeply asleep Alice! I love this girl!
Esme has been a writer since she was three and got a princess notebook & pen from our dear friends, Matt & Jen. She is constantly writing! We have notebooks full of her writings and drawings. I love it when she gets mad at me and writes an apology!
